Stand Up Paddling

Stand up paddling (SUP) is a great sport activity that rapidly is becoming popular in our beach in Velipoje. It complements wind based sports on non-windy days and is particularly great for beginners as the water is mostly flat every day.

With a stand up paddle you could take any of our tours designed from beginner to expert level. With a SUP you may enjoy a full remarkable view of the entire Velipoje coastline, steering away from the crowded beach and explore natural beauties surrounding Velipoje area. Our guests prefer to paddle from our spot to the Vilun lagoon (30 minutes ride) and explore the lagoon; paddle northwest up to the border with Montenegro (40 minutes from our spot); tour the Velipoje coastline, visit Rana Hedhun, or ride the nearby Buna river.

SUP is a superior core workout on flat water. It is an ideal sport for cross-training as it brings together legs, back, feet, arms, neck and stomach muscles in a graceful display of core strength and balance. The evident advantages of Stand Up Paddle boarding is a rise in the amount of fitness. This can be a great sport for mix-training as you will see that you apply the muscles inside your legs, arms, back, abdomen as well as your feet. Along with paddling you’ll use lot of different body simply balance around the board, which provides you more exercise. If you are looking at both aerobic and strength exercise, this is a perfect sport.
